Citroen pipes in all sizes

Post by DHallworth »

We are examining a deal with a supplier to allow us to offer all sizes of Citroen pipes i.e. 3.5/4.5/6mm in either thick wall copper or cupronickel.
Obviously they can also do non-Citroen pipes in imperial or metric sizes & fittings.

Further we can explore the possibility of having a kit of pipes by model made available if we can supply all the pipe lengths.
Orders placed by noon can normally be despatched same day.
Pipes are supplied for ease of shipping in coiled form.
Let me try to now evaluate the level of interest.

Next project is the re-occurring one of strut tops.
Does anyone have a redundant strut top which can be taken apart to evaluate the re-engineering of same?

Thanks

David.

I'd be interested in some 3.5mm curponickel lines ..... depending on the price ... Postage is going to be a killer

Hi David.

The pipes are already available in cupro nickel, we have done these for years and so do other firms, so there is already competition. Not trying to put you off, just letting you know!

The strut tops are a good idea though and possibly the XM strut tops too, but they maybe quite expensive to manufacture, unless you are getting a lot at a time.

Shane, It's a pity that you say postage would be a killer now, Peter only left me last week to go home to Brisbane, he could have put some in his luggage then posted it to you from there, we quite often send bits to Australia this way, but he is not back here too often now so the timeing is not allways right.

Regards
Martin.

Hi Guys,

I do have a 3.5mm flaring tool. Someday I'll have to get some pipe and pipe nuts :) I did ask Pleiades Australia (Peter ?) a year or so back for a length of 3.5mm pipe, however he had none in stock to sell.

So where would one look to find a citroen flare tool, and how much are they?, ebay seems to be mostly imperial. Having looked under my car at a couple of the pipes i wish i hadnt, and now believe that at least two of them need replacement soonest due to serious rust!
