Window drops out

Post by Xaccers »

After fitting the proper electric window motor unit to Juliet, I was enjoying the warm weather yesterday when I picked up my young lady.
The window was down, and when she closed the door there was a thunk as it bounced off the motor unit.
Got home and re-attached it, but the clip doesn't hold it.
Any idea where I can get a new clip from?

What sort of clip is it Xac
Is it the square type that twists over the lug or is it a spring clip a bit like an "r" clip.

If the latter i have one of those thats yours if you want it

It's the latter.
I'm going to see if I can crimp it a bit tighter this weekend, and I'll take a photo to show you if it's still misbehaving :)

Hi Xac
Hopefully this is the offending clip alongside its rubber counter part :) :)

That's the blighter!
I've crimped mine together and it seems to be holding.
Will see how it goes.
