Hi Guys, I've just bought a 98 r reg 2.0 litre coupe which has an intermittent starting problem. Sometimes the car will turn over perfectly but just not start. If i switch off and start again it will start within the next 2 or 3 attempts. There is no pattern to when it does this and I have replaced the coil pack but to no avail. Also the red light on the interior alarm switch is on all the time and does not flash when locked, alarmed or otherwise. I dont know if the 2 things are related but would appreciate any help.
