Help - cooling problem

Can anyone help with a cooling problem on a 19 16v Phase 2. The radiator fan fuse in the aux fuse box keeps blowing. There in nothing obvious and the wiring looks OK - any suggestions??

Does the fan work?
If it does try checking the amp draw from the motor.

Right I think I have sorted this.
Connected the fan direct to battery via a switch & fuse and guess what - it works fine. Have a 20A fuse in (should be 25A) and have run the fan for long periods with no problems.
The only thing I can think of is that either the relay has failed or there is a wiring problem somewhere. As the relay costs £47 + VAT from Renault I have sourced an equivalent relay from Maplin at a cost of £1.50, and a fan/stat connector from a scrapper(£3), and have made my own loom - fan is now working A1.[:)]
