C4 picasso heating and cooling advice please

Post by civvie »

Looking to bite the bullet and buy one of these, looking at the 1.6HDI with EGS. The cabin of my present C5 2.2hdi warms up nice and quickly in the winter and is nice and cold in the heat of France in the summer. I believe my C5 has some kind of heater to warm the cabin quickly in the winter, has the 1.6 the same kind of thing. Also does a 1.6 engine have the poke to make the cabin cool in the summer bearing in mind the Picasso has an enormous windscreen, and does the air con take a lot of power out of the 1.6 hdi engine.
Any feedback appreciated

Can't drive nor afford one of those.
Bottom line it has no heating or cooling, but nice paint job...
