Spoiler for lx...

Unread post by davetherave »

Now ive got the leather seats im going to try and go as far as possible with putting all the factory options on my lx! (sad i know i should have bought an activa but i like diesel)
I was wondering if anyone could recommend a spoiler, do mk1s fit mk 2s? I have found one on ebay that says it sticks on would this be ok?
Also does anyone actually have a list of the original factory options?
Also considering mud flaps, not sure how they would look though.
Thanks!

Syb, my first Xantia, was a N reg hatchback 1.9TD SX, and she had a wing like spoiler with a built in long third break light.
Was much better looking (in my opinion) than the 405-esque one fitted to more recent Xantias, and their tacked on third breaklight.

hi Dave, I put flaps on my S2 xantia, and although I am no style guru, I thought the car looked better for it :)

one got in a flap, and fell off the other day though, so rather than 3, I have gone back to 0

What flaps did you use, was it the universal ones like the ones on ebay?

Get a genuine citroen spoiler with the bolts intact, Ten min job to fit it to the boot.

I fitted one to my turbo-d a while back, Bought it off ebay for 99p in the right shade of grey! :D

Hi,

Don't know how much you want to pay for a spoiler but this is on ebay at the moment at just short of £93 inc postage.

Bit of a long link there so hope it works!

PS.... My Activa has genuine Citroen mud flaps and I think it looks better for it.

I'm also a an of mudflaps, all my vehicles have them, even the van! Both the TD and Activa have genuine Citroen items which are much better than universal. They came off ebay, had to wait 6 months to find a rear pair but eventually they did come up!
