Sunroof woes (or Quick Question 2)

Thanks for the help re the spheres on my sons car - the job went perfectly and nothing went wrong at all - all three rear spheres changed in record time with no broken knuckles anywhere - this time it all went so well I should have guessed something else would be on the way

but
as he was about to drive away he went to open the electric sunroof and four or five bits fell out of the runners and the glass is now just laying in a closed position in the opening
The bits that have fallen off appear to be the actual opening arms which I assume run i the plastic runners and attach somehow to the side of the actual sunroof itself - the car is a Xantia 96 1.9TD.
Has anyone any info on what must be done to reinstate the sunroof or pictures/diagrams of what the mechaism should look like - on reflection he thinks he left the sunroof open last night and possibly someone forced it - we only noticed when he went to use it
