idles but no revs- update

hi all,
had a fiddle at the weekend, cleaned up a few sensor and ECU connectors. i no longer have the antipollution or esp/ars faults on the display and had the car idling and reving fine whilst stationary,but drove it about 100m and it stalled and again,would only idle and rev to about 1300 rpm and smokes alot (grey and v smelly) but no fault recorded on the display. could it be turbo,solenoid or fuel pump related ? (ive just had recon injectors)
