Changing over heater controls Xantia 96

Guys,

I can get the heater control panel "loose" but it is clear it cant be removed without disconnecting cables? from the back....

I presume i will need to whip out the stereo too....? Also once thats out how hard is it to disconnect the control panel and re connect?

I have a new one ready to go in you see...

you need to remove the radio, then you can pop off the black top cover of the controller, and inside disconnect the control cables.
