ive just opened the electric window, which worked fine, but then pushed the down button by mistake, the window has come all the way up and now wont open, i can hear/feel the motor working but the window doesnt move

It might help to remove the trim panel, to see what has happened in the door.

With the windows in the up position & the ignition on, lift & hold both front window buttons (as if to close the windows) for a count of 5 seconds...this will reset the windows & may sort out your problem.

You sometimes have to do the above if the battery has been disconnected & the drivers side window only goes up an inch or so at a time instead of working in 1 touch mode.
