How to remove leather seats?

Hi im a newb here, but have had a couple of xantias. Ive just bought some leather seats from a late mk2 to be fitted into an earlier mk2 but i need to remove them. Just wondering if anyone can give some advice on what to remove ie loom and control boxes. well im off to get my key reprogrammed as i didnt replace the battery quick enough!

Ahhhh was that for a tiny 52 quid too!!!!! 8)


I was after them, think your self lucky I missed the end time! I was annoyed with myself :( :x

Anyway - well done they looked nice.. I cannot see any difference in ANY of the Mk.2 early or late... slide the seat right back, two torx at the front, remove the plastic on the off side, nearest the door side, of the seat to expose the front one. dissconnect the wires for the side Air bags... underneath

Seat ALL the way forward, remove the 3 torx in the rear of the seat slide rails and unbolt the seatbelt with I think eith 16 or 17mm socket..

Passenger seat is same as drivers seat :lol:

Were are you?? I may be VERY interested in the LX door trims for a S2 LX here with damaged door cards??

Lol no it was not the ones you missed out on, wish i did only pay that much though!
Im in norwich area, expect the full set of seats and door cards to be going up in a couple of weeks, ill post on here 1st though they are in very good nick i just fancied making myself lots of work by putting leather ones in!

Just got in from fitting the leather seats, easier than i thought tapped the power from the 12v lighter point.. Didnt get the steering wheel as was not in great nick.
if your interested in the old ones (listed in the for sale bit) let me know, includes door cards.
