306 hdi clutch cable makes noise + engine management light

[xantia 1.9td 1999]

I recently posted about the engine management light, this was a result of replacing the clutch cable. The advise given was that i should follow the cable in the hope that a connecter had come loose.

I tried but the engine bay is a nightmare specially where the cable is situated, sort of behind the engine close to the back of the dashboard. Any more advise, does anyone know if their are specific sensor connecters around the clutch cable, if yes where abouts.

Also the cable rattles?? when i come off the gas pedal or going right at the roundabout, doesnt do it when cornering left. HELP HELP

anyone now how much delaers charge to replace a clutch cable, labour only?
