
After a bit of digging, i came across this info. Clearly they were mistaken...
Heuliez designed in 1996 a convertible version of Xantia. Unfortunately this idea didn´t never see the day light. This Xantia had retractable hardtop.

To be honest: The car was created by morphing a Citroen Xantia and a BMW 325i convertible together - using photoshop;-)
I placed both cars on the same spot and tried to merge both pictures. The imaging process took me some 2 hours, including removal of the two rear doors of the citroen and the BMW badge from the steering wheel.
