xantia rear ride height

Post by shaunthesheep »

after lots of searching on this forum, have came to the conculse, that my rear ride height is not correct (have mesuared & looked at other xantia's) will have to bite the bullet & take it to main dealer to get them to do a proper job, with all the correct tools.
as the independent citroen garage that replaced my rear height correcter last year, didnt set it up correctly but they say that it is at the right height, but i do tend to disagree with them[:(!].
does anyone know what kind of price main dealer will charge?

The local dealer I used to use for servicing was charging £40 per hour labour, but its the shocking parts prices that really make jobs expensive - £76+VAT for an accumilator sphere (supply only) being such an example.
I'd imagine you would be charged an hours labour for sorting the ride height, but knowing what some dealers get up to they will more than likely try to swindle you into buying 2 new height correctors, a full set of spheres, a HP pump, new clutch and anything else they can get away with!
