Service.Citroen

Post by bonnyman750 »

Hi All,

is the Service.Citroen site experiencing problems or have they just bombed me out. Each time I try to enter their site using the username and password that has always worked before, it just keeps coming up with a message saying that it is only reserved for automobile professionals! Is anyone else having the same problems???

Same thing is happening to me.

Could this be connected to the economic downturn, they want us to get our servicing done through Citroen rather than doing it ourselves? It may not have the desired effect, because instead of being able to find the part we need on service.citroen.com and order it, we'll be off to GSF or the scrapyard....

I just re-registered and got in, don't know how long it will last as I had to say I was in Canada as they want a VAT number for European countries.
It infuriates me to be wrong when I know I'm right

Same happened to my peugeot box account.
wonder how long I will keep my service net access ...

I have an idea the account is closed, if the activity level is too low over a period of time, indicating you are not really in PSA business.

A good trick MAY be purchasing a ticket for 1 hour access to the secret area. Then let the ticket stay un-used ...
Cant imagine they will cancel an account with un-used (and payed) ticket without notice.

IIRC I left them blank, and it worked. Is that no longer the case?

Donno. Registered as independent (private owner).
Have worked for me more than 2 years now.

However I do access service net nearly every day because I'm a very active member on the danish http://www.citronik.dk forum.

My peugeot box account was left un-used for weeks from time to time. Guess thats the reason why I got wiped out.

Bummer. My account was deleted and now I can't create a new one because it complains of an "Unknown intra-community code".

I can't quite make the sense out of PSA's decision to shut the site out.

If you choose your country as one outside the EU then the VAT field disappears and you don't get the "Unknown intra-community code" message, so you can re register, mine's still working this morning having re registered last night as a Canadian!

I'm out too and was only using it yesterday! :(

Now I've been able to actually see things using a diferent browser it get's
accessed extensively every day. I signed up with private professional or
somesuch. Recently on log in it's been flagging up an extra screen asking
for me to give additional sign up information but I didn't worry about it
as I could still log in! Don't suppose it's something to do with the VAT
change that BTW will go back up to 20% in a year's time? :(

Still working here, in its usual slow, erratic way.
That story of ‘reserved for professionals’ has been going on for months.
As I’ve had for a long time, it often returns to the front page to log back in.
When done, it continues for a while, and I made this screenshot at 2:12 PM GMT:
