door noise

when i open my clio drivers side door i get a loud crack noise i sprayed it with wd40 the bolts are all tight

My son's 306 is the same - an overenthusiastic door stay I reckon.

306 easy to fix on the door check the side that fits on to the car there is a pin replace that

That has been replaced with a nut and bolt. It seems to be the cam inside the door, spring a bit too stron I imagine. Someone has likely had the door of and jiggered it.
It isn't a problem, just a bit noisy.

RE 306: The nut and bolt wont fix it, you need a roll pin as they are sprung, but if the holes are worn, it will crack even if you do that and you need a new check, they are pretty cheap from Pug.
