C5 What engine have I got?

Post by andydykes »

A strange question you may ask. I am wanting to do a service as I have no idea when the last one was done.

Citroen C5 July 2002 1.8LX Model Type DC6FZB 1749cc Chassis number starts VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] engine number starts off LT1005

I cannot find this model in the online catalogues so am getting confussed to what spark plugs, oil and air filters to change. Any shortcuts and advice also welcome.

The car is abit juddery when cold but seems fine once warm, anything to worry about?

Cheers

Engine should be the EW7J4 engine.

Hope that helps

Look on http://www.filtrauto.com/catalogues/FO/ ... hp?lang=GB

It tells you all the filters you require for your car. Take a printout to your parts shop and they will thank you as they won't need the catalogues!
Currently driving a 2004 C5 VTR (old shape) and an Electric Kia Soul. Sorry but the electric one is my favourite!
