Access to Fuel Gauge

Post by evilally »

I've got a broken fuel gauge but I don't fancy taking the dash to bits to replace it. I had the centre console out yesterday to fix a fault with the heater control. This made me think, could I carefully cut a hole in the plastic behind the centre console/heater vent and get access there? Then I could carefully seal it up again once finished. I don't want to cut a hole if the access is poor.
