V6 Hydraulic Depressurisation?

I will need to depressurise the hydraulics on my V6 in the not too distant.

How do you actually get to the bleed screw to do it? I can just about see the pressure regulator and what looks like the bleed screw but it's up against the gearbox

It looks like the airbox needs to come off to gain access but that's currently baffling me too

This V6 is going to be fun, I can just feel it

You need to get under the car and in effect "Do it from behind"

You can do it from the top but you'll need a long spanner or thin arms.

Ahh, now I've had the airbox off I can see it well enough but as you say Stempy, a long spanner in the hands of Mr. Tickle is still required!

Hi Jim

I have found that for most jobs, changing spheres for instance, you don't need to depressurise with the screw, setting the suspension to the lowest position will in a few minutes depresurise most of the system - except the centre spheres, the only way I have found ofdepressurising those is a faulty suspension ECU

Been there, got the green hair to prove it

For Hydractive Centre Spheres, a Pleaides tool is your friend

So how needs a bleed screw... Thanks for the tip Peter
