Anyone want my Activa

Unread post by Bootser »

Sadly ive just been laid off from work, not lost me job yet lol, and my Activa has to go . Car runs fine and has been used for a 55 mile round trip journey to work everyday with no problems.

Bad points . Rear brakes need doing for MOT , suspension has just started to get bouncy , still goes up and down ok . Needs passenger door mirror ,one of the rear doors wont close got it tied shut lol , batterys died wont hold a charge , a bit tatty all round .

Good points in the last 2 years had brand new front ram and radiator. all from main dealer . Engine done 160000 but still nice and quiet , clutch and gearbox fine .

Still taxed and tested till end of jan so can drive it away if youve got a battery to put on it. Rather it was some use to somone ,even for spares, rather than stick it on ebay or just scrap it .I bought it from a guy on the activa forum.
Its a silver mrk 1 on an R plate by the way .

Be really sorry to see it go .

Fingers crossed the job situation improves for you and the rest of us too really! Sad the car needs to go.

I really don't want to be mercenary but will follow up your ad;

Where are you?

All ths best!

Yes please; the sunroof is the clincher! Don't worry about the pics.
More importantly, what's the deal with the door not closing!? :shock:

For £50 I would probably have it. Will do some quick sums in a bit. Any pics? I assure you I would take good care of it.

If you are sure that you would like to let it go for £50...

Am only in Ringwood too

EDIT: I see Andrew got there before me :lol:
