On your HDI 1.6 you will need a replaceable filter element genuine part no. 1109.Z6, which is located in the filter housing down at your LH viewing at front of engine.
Cant recognise the needs for any special tools, looks pretty straightforward removing a lid to access the filter.
According to service net, you should find a rectangular blanking plate held with 3 wingnuts, covering the pollen filter.
This applies to all models.
Except the filter unit itself varies according to fitment of climate control :
6447.FF POLLENFILTER
- EXCEPT AIRCONDiTION CLIMATE CONTROL
6447.LN CHARCOAL FILTER
- AIRCONDiTION CLIMATE CONTROL
6479.40 PREMIUM FILTER
- AIRCONDiTION CLIMATE CONTROL PREMIUM
