since buying the van i've not had any speedo back lights - well i can see from 60mph onwards, but 0-60 is in the dark. Also, i have no temp gauge back light either.
I've taken the dash out a replaced some of the 286 1.2v bulbs in the other side & that's working grand now. I just can't see how to change the speedo bulbs - there's nothing obvious, i even split the housing, undid the four screws holding the speedo face to the unit; couldn't work how to remove the speedo needle, or even if it can be removed?! Even peering from all angles in this stripped down state i can't see any signs of bulbs or holders...
Is it a new speedo job, or does anyone have any experience of sorting this little problem out?!
