Hi,
I have a problem with my handbrake. When I apply it only the passenger rear wheel locks, the drivers rear wheel does not.
I thought it might have been the cable so i replaced it, but it is still the same.
When the foot brake is applied the wheel locks up.
What I have noticed is the lever that the cable attaches to on the caliper pulls all the way to the end stop when the hand brake is applied, where as on the working side it moves maybe half of the travel available.
I have read somewhere that it might be the self adjusters, do my calipers have self adjusters, and would this be my problem?
I have a Haynes manual but it doesnt tell me how to strip down the rear calipers. Is it possible to strip them down and how do I do it?
