My on-going saga related to my peugeot peruses and after having a diagnostic on my 306, XL, 1994 L-reg petrol car I've been told to do the following (including members on here):
- Definite replacement of throttle body
- Buy new cam belt
- To unplug + check the following:
- Connectors to the Inlet Air Temperature Sensor
- Connectors on the throttle body
- Check the connector to the oxygen sensor
And I've been told by my work associate that it needs:
- Inlet Temperature Sensor
- Throttle Position Sensor
Though - Aren't these on the throttle body?
So, finally, would someone be able to point out where the throttle body/housing is by pointing it out in a photo? I can take a photo of my peugeot's engine no problem.
Picking up throttle body from breakers.

Yes, just take a good, clear photo of the engine bay and we'll tryjoshier wrote: So, finally, would someone be able to point out where the throttle body/housing is by pointing it out in a photo? I can take a photo of my peugeot's engine no problem.

The throttle body is the "barrel" located under the arrow.
You must remove the flat plastic duct and associated hosing & wiring harness.
Note : be VERY careful with the plastic stud where you have an orange zipper fitted. This stud snaps at the very moment you think it wont snap, and then you will never get the engine to run properly again
