Xantia Diesel Tank

What is the best or easiest way to drain the Diesel fuel out of my Xantia?

Xantia 1.9 TD 1995 185000 this old girl went to sleep.

Take the return fuel pipe off the in tank sensor cover thingy and put it into a suitable container and just run the engine and it should do it in a decent amount of time :)
