The book will cover 1.6 and 2.0 diesels and 1.8 and 2.0 petrols. Not 2.2 or V6 models.

Price £19.99 but Institute of Advanced Motorists and Citroen Car Club members can get discounts. See their relevent members pages on the websites.
Currently driving a 2004 C5 VTR (old shape) and an Electric Kia Soul. Sorry but the electric one is my favourite!

Is this some kind of a record? 9 years from introduction of a popular vehicle to the publication of a BoL?

After being that long is gestation, it'll surely be a cracker!

Still no V6 though. Beggars belief really and the omission of the 2.2 is not good. And after such a long time in preparation too.

Is there any BoL that dares to cover the V6? Bit like the Xantia BoL never covering the 2.0CT and V6 engines. Luckily, the XM BoL did in the case of the 2.0CT.

Just pre-ordered mine from Amazon

£18.99 and free delivery if you choose "FREE Super Saver Delivery (Arrives 2-4 business days later than First Class)"

So a £1 cheaper and no need to waste fuel and get out of your armchair to visit Halfords et al.

Edit: "Estimated dispatch date for this item: 16 Dec 2008" . I suppose if we've waited a year less than a decade for this, a further 5 weeks from today isn't going to hurt

It was actually due in August or September. I'll believe this revised due date when I see it.

I'd love to know the story behind this. Was it a legal issue I wonder? He asks expecting it to be nothing else!

I think the Haynes manual for the Peugeot 406 covers the 2.2 HDI engine (the green covered book 99-02. I just checked and it does).

I keep meaning to get one.

It sounds like an XM manual will be useful for the ACTIVA 2.0 CT engine too.

I'll have a whole cupboard full of the things soon !
Cheers, Kev

....whilst the Haynes assertion that this will still be available in 2008 seems to refer to 2008 in a parallel universe
