Citroen Video Guides

Post by red_dwarfers »

I've been mulling over the idea of making a series of short videos on general Xantia ownership, aimed at those just starting out. It would be a different way of showing how stuff is done in a more practical way.

I was going to start off with checking the LHM level, brief explaination of what the green stuff is for and where to get it, how to properly check the level, how to add fluid and also how to drain it if theres too much.

What do you all think of the idea?

If I did go on and film this first 'tryout' is there anything else you think would be worth including or removing?

I think it's a great idea. :)

For all that I've read about green-blooded Cits during the years, I realise just how little I know now that I actually have one!

I'd love to know how the height correctors and linkages work, and just how the car should behave when the height is adjusted. Good quality video would help greatly. =D>

Youtube beckons...

This was discussed recently here (somewhere...!) where a heater matrix job was suggested.

Where are these Citroen specialists too?

Andrew, I do remember the heater matrix video idea, thats when I started thinking.

Frenchcarnut, I don't have access to a C5 at the present so that will have to be on the back burner for the time being :)

James, I know they've recently put a 'high quality' option on YouTube which I reckon is ideal to take advantage of. I've actually got to take off my height corrector at some point as I've got a slight problem with the suspension so maybe if all goes well with the first video... :D

that is an excellent idea, as andrew says, it has been suggested before, but if someone does it, that would be great, not seen any other forum do it before!
