1.6 hdi 92bhp v 1.6 hdi 110bhp

Post by meexi »

I know that the differance between the 2.0hdi 90bhp and the 2.0hdi 110bhp has been well documented but what are the main differances between the 1.6hdi`s
2004 C3 XTR HDI 16V 92bhp
2004 Xsara Picasso Exclusive HDI 16V 110bhp
1989 Peugeot J5 Hymer B694 2.5td intercooled 8v 96bhp

I believe the only differences ar the 110bhp has a particle filter (FAP) & the 90 bhp doesent, also different ECU software to go along with it.

Does the 1.6 90 have a turbo? My dad has a 207 and I'm sure it doesn't.

All HDI have turbos, even the 55bhp one in the C1.
Currently driving a 2004 C5 VTR (old shape) and an Electric Kia Soul. Sorry but the electric one is my favourite!
Formerly Hyundai Genesis 3.8 V6, 2 x Kia Optima, 2 x C5, Xsara and Saxo.
