Xantia ABS wiring

Post by whitton »

My 2.0 litre 16 valve 1997 Xantia suffers occasional ABS warning light showing. I understand this is likely to be due to one of the wheel sensors or the wiring close to them. I would like to start by checking the resistance from the ABS ECU socket. Does anybody know the relevant socket pin numbers?

It's a good read Alan, but the pin out is not right for the Xantia <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> (Cit wouldn't have used the same one, now would they!). Unfortunately I do not know of anywhere to find the pin-out <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>

I think you'll find that if this is not the same that if "ABS" is put into the search engine on this forum it will pop up as it has been asked before and a poster here a year or so ago used to be an auto sparky & has produced the numbers.
As I say, I have a feeling it is either the same or very close as the ECU for the ABS could be similar.

Might be another good one to swing across to "Common problems & fixes" Jon.
You've got the "key" <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
