ZX 1.4i front hub nut removal info

Thought I'd share some info gained recently:

Searched extensively, the other day, to find size of front hub nut couldn't find reference fro 1.4i. FYI it is 30mm.

Managed to loosen it thus: car on ground, 30mm socket , a 1/2" drive shaft from long-dead ratchet - one end in socket, the other in a bench vice (not attached to bench - still waiting for workshop to be built...). A 3' pipe wedged in the jaws and it was easy.

3 lower balljoint bolts weren't though. Took ages.

another cheat while its on the car is to put a screwdriver in the disc vent to lock it against the caliper to remove the hub bolt
