407 lower balljoint

407 lower balljoint

This seems to be a common MOT failure item, and having just bought one, its obvious that its different to a standard lower balljoint. How is it fitted? Looking at the balljoint, theres nothing to stop it 'popping off' so presumably, the joint is fitted to a swivel?
