Plug for Pleiades

Unread post by pete_wood_uk »

Just had my Xantia re-sphered, while it was in for its MOT. 8 replacement spheres later, it's back to being as near to a magic carpet as Xantias ever get. The joys of Hydractive II :D

We used re-gassed spheres from Pleiades, so I thought I'd just post a "happy customer" message. Service was friendly and helpful, and (for personal customers only!) there's even an ace trampoline for my disabled toddler to bounce up and down on while the credit card payment went through.

Won't get as much refunded on the exchange spheres as I'd hoped, as the Xantia disgorged an eclectic collection of three spheres with indents (and thus spikes on the inside), one C5 sphere (!), one probably knackered sphere and three regassable spheres. But even without all 8 exchange refunds, it still works out a lot cheaper than new spheres.

And no, I have no commercial connection with Pleiades at all.

Cheers
Pete

Excellent stuff Pete :D

I bought a Sphere Removal Tool from Pleiades last week. Delivered in 48 hours and excellent in every way :D If you have a hydraulic Citroen, this is the only tool that really does the job, especially on an Activa. The angled head is just at the right angle to get at the awkward ones.

I spoke again to Martin concerning my Activa spheres and enjoyed a really good natter. I hope to go and see him next week clutching an armful of spheres for recharging!

I will third that!

From time to time I need pipe, fittings etc, they are very helpful and deliver speedily. They even knew the obscure village in Dorset where we live!

Sadly I've had nothing but problems with the company - nothing serious but too many issues to support a plug...
