A trip to Devon, Somerset and Wales in an Activa!

Unread post by XantiaMan »

Me and the missus got some time off the little'un this weekend and took a trip to Devon, back through somerset and as we were so close to it, Wales! In total we did nearly a 1000 miles in two days and the car performed perfectly. Fuel consumption was between 32-35mpg and fed on a diet of V-Power only, has been going like stink!

Here are a few select pictures from our weekend (don't worry, cars only  )

A view in Devon from Sidmouth -

Moving swiftly along to Torquay

And then on the way back, Cheddar Gorge -

We then proceeded to mid-wales, to some of the nicest scenery i know of, onto a mountain road -

And finally, one from many moons ago when i first visited the road in Abergwesyn, miss that car!

Nice pictures!
The Activa looks a treat, look at that shine!
Incidentally, I bought my current Xant in the Torquay area and was down there again on Saturday.
The area of Torbay I find is a hot spot for XMs, about half the times I've been down there I spotted one or two. Once I had a VSX in front and an Exclusive behind! What treat that was!

She's looking very well Gareth, and so is the car

Seriously lovely pictures those and all the better for having a very minty Activa in the foreground :D

Delighted to hear the Activa performed well and with excellent economy by Activa standards.

The Welsh countryside looks gorgeous. Whereabouts was that?

I'm Somerset born and bred and you know what? I have NEVER been to Cheddar Gorge
