Peugeot leather interior in a Xantia?

Been down the local scrapyard today and spotted a P reg Peugeot 406 Executive, with about 3/4 of a leather interior. Looks like everything apart from the drivers seat.
Out of curiosity, does the 406 seats fit into the Xantia? I presume it would only fit into a series 2 Xant if it did?

I'll stick it in the For Sale and Wanted later on, when I know if it is just for a 406 or not.

having owned a xantia and needing to remove the front and rear seats due to battery acid, and now owning a 406 exec, id say that you would not be able to put the seats from a 406 into a xantia no matter how much persuasion you gave them.

The front seats are mounted completely different in the 406 compared to the xantia as I've tried to remove the fronts of my 406 for cleaning when i first got the car.

Also removed the rears from the 406 for the same reason and can confidently say that they would not fit in a xantia either.

I disagree,

I fitted some Citroen XM cloth seats in a Xantia! Successfully... All I needed to do was swap the complete runners from one seat to the other as the bolting areas were in exactly the same place.... made a much more comfy and higher driving position!

So I cant see why 406 seats wont go in, with a bit of swapping and jiggling!
