Hi Malcolm,

Unfortunately I'm not very familiar with C5's yet, I'm going older rather than newer on the car front, ask me a question on a DS and I'll have more idea

When you say service light, I take it the service indicator is not the spanner sign thingy next to the total mileage at the bottom of the speedo? If its one of those then hold down the mileage trip button whilst you turn the ignition on and it will count down for ten seconds and reset. Beyond that I'm in the dark as I haven't got a C5 to plug my Lexia into, has anyone got a C5 to plug my Lxia into to find out? Free diagnostic session

Its a pity the Lexia doesn't cover the EFi system on my DS, I'd like to check that its working 100%.

Try this it worked on mine.

With ignition switched OFF

Press & hold the trip reset button ( one you use to 0 the trip mileage )

Turn ignition to ON

Keep the button held down & watch the countdown in the display 9, 8, 7 etc till it gets to 0

When it gets to 0 release the button & it should be reset.

The service sign could be on for a variety of reasons - mine comes on when the screenwash reservoir is low on fluid, goes off when it is filled.
