BX Diesel Turbo reversing light

Have just had a replacement engine put in and since then the reversing light does not work. Can anybody tell me where the wires are from the gearbox. If need be I will return to the garage to get them to fix it, but if it is a simple fix I will do it myself.

If it's like a normally-aspirated diesel, the switch is towards the to the right of the plastic gearbox filler cap, set down a little .
There are two blue wires in a plastic plastic protector tube, which join with other wires in a multipoint brown connector a few inches to the right of the switch, almost under the battery.
There may also be two kinds of switches of differing lengths (if my addled memory serves me correctly).

Thanks David. That gives me a clue to start with
