A colleague's C5 will start fine after being left for a few hours but if he tries to start it within an hour of using the car it refuses to start. Any ideas?
Duff glowplugs?

What ever it is, I'm pretty sure it won't be the glow plugs. It could be the low pressure pump - try wheeler's trick of whacking it under the tank whilst cranking. Otherwise, I suspect it will need to go on the diag computer when it's doing it so that the live data can be read to see what is amiss
