i know this has come up before and i have tried to use the search facility but can someone point me in the direction of a web site that i can get these or similar? i am just rebuilding the 405 and forgot to take pictures of the various brackets and fixings for the power steering pump and of course haynes is on use

Robin,

I know the problem. There is a better Haynes for the 405 that has a purple cover but neither cover the diesel though.. You need the separate orange covered haynes Dieesel Supplement for that which I reckon will have what you need in it.

Does your PAS pump live on the top of the gearbox and drive from a vee belt from the cam or is is it one that mounts up where a Citroen HP pump would normally sit and drives with the Aux belt?

some cofigureation as a xantia it was just with swoping everything over various brackets and bolts got mixed up on the garage floor and i just want some diagrams to put me in the right direction!
btw. i dont have a haynes for the pug i have been using the xantia one :wink:
