How to remove Berlingo roof bars?

Post by PeteH »

Hi, Can any one give me a guide on how to remove the roof bars that go ACROSS the roof please. Do you lever out the plasic cover, the one with a single hole in it, or do you feed the allan key through this hole - thanks in anticipation. :?

I think you'll find an allen key attached to the plastic cover if you pull it off. If it's the same system as the Thule bars on our C5 it's almost like a giant hose clip, you loosen the allen bolt until you are able to unhook the strap. Push the bolt in as you loosen it.

Berlingo Bars

Yes there is an Allen Key in the rear over-head cupboard. I have tried pushing it through the hole in the plastic cover but it does not seem tp locate in anything. Do you have to remove the cover on the 'Cross Bar' to expose the Allen Screw?
