smelly ventilation picasso

I have a 55 reg picasso. When the ventilation fan is on the "fresh air" coming thro has a similar smell to stale urine. This doesnt happen when the fan is on or when the air conditioning is on.

Anyone come across this before

This is a well known Picasso problem due to a build up of bacteria in the air conditioning. Take a look on http://citroenpicasso.org.uk/picasso/index.php and in particular the technical section FAQ's
