laguna mk.2 electric windows.
both front windows screech as if they need oiling when moving up or down.they barely move growling all the way.help?

Problem is the high friction with dry glass on rubber.
Using cotton sticks lightly oil the bottom of the guide channels and any free edges of the window glass (not the upper channel/edge though
). Then work the windows up & down a few times.
Note that the winder motors may stall completely due to built-in thermal overload fuses. They will self-reset within a few minutes.
Best to have engine idle providing constant charge on the battery, as the constant winding eats lots of energy from your battery.
