leaking diesel

hi, i'v recently got a diesel turbo laguna (96), & i'v noticed liquid leaking on the top of the engine. first i thought it was the water pump leaking but i'v realised it smells of diesel. it seems to be in all the injector seats so i guess its an injector leaking.
is this an expensive/difficult job & is it dangerous for me to drive until it's fixed?

Doubt its the injectors leaking.

May be very simple that the injector pipe unions just needs a nipping up. Dont overdo it though, as the pipes may crack.

Any visible rubber/PVC hosing between the injectors ?
If so - these are the overflow hoses leading back to the tank return union on the pump.
These hoses are known to dry out and get brittle. Chances are they crumble if you touch them.
You just need a length of suitable diameter diesel fuel hose, and cut new hoses to fit then.
Should not even cost you a 5'er.

there is a piece of yellow/transparent coloured pipe sticking up from next to the 4th injector about 3 inches long with some dodgy wrapping at the end of it. don't know how it would get onto all the injectors tho.
theres also a bit of black oil around the engine so im a bit worried the might be a head gasket issue

Not head gasket - but rocker cover gasket. Thats a common wear part for a 10'er or so.

thats a relief & it would make sense as it's around the rocker cover & water pump.
I think theres something missing from the injectors as that overflow pipe doesn't go anywhere & its been bodged at the end
