Yet another question!
Where is the thermoswitch for the cooling fan on my 99 activa?
I reckon its not working properly as when I did my usual Sunday evening stint in the traffic jam on the M6/M5 last night, the temperature guage went up, and up, and then the light came on, eventually the fan cut in and it just kept the temperature guage at the top.
Surely this isnt normal?
Any help appreciated as am dreading Fridays crawl home!

Would expect it to have two cooling fans, and the fault being that both fans don’t come on at low speed when the engine gets a bit hot.
Looks like only one fan comes on at high speed when the engine gets close to overheat.
Both fans always have to spin at the same speed.
The top right relay socket may be blackened.
One of the red fuses just behind the battery may be blown, 40 Amps in the photo, 30A on petrol engines.
