Xantia dash removal
I need to get to my A/C evaporator to investigate my thus far undiscovered leak. I assume i'll have to remove the dash completely, if so any tips?

Hesitate, and wait for more advice, and a lot of it before you embark on,or comtemplate removing a dash. There must be another way.I do not have A/C so cannot advise you.Check if you can get to this component by removing the Heater, and or Radio.Or perhaps from under the dash, working from the under the front passenger side.

I'm pretty sure there would be a panel (on the passengers side in a BX) on the side of the air distribution box directly behind where the A/C hoses penetrate the firewall which can be removed to allow access to the expansion or TX valve. This is most likely where the leak is - I've had two go leaky in my BX. The panel allows the TX valve to be changed with only removal of the carpet at the bottom of the dash. Good Luck.
