ZX Door Mirror

Sorry for the trivial question, but how easy is it to replace the glass in a ZX door mirror? Some kind bod has smashed the glass, but the main mirror housing seems fine, and I'd rather fork out the £6 for some glass rather than the £20 plus for a whole mirror.

The glass is not to bad to fit but CAUTION is the word. make sure you have the lense lined up correctly and when pushing on the glass make sure you place your fingers only in the places where it actually attaches if not with to much pressure the glass cracks. Good luck!

I used one of those stick on mirrors on my old ZX, if it's the manually adjustable type you might find it helpful to have someone sit in the car and hold the little joystick thing firmly. Otherwise you can end up sticking the glass in the wrong place when the backing plate moves (like I did!).
