Hi can we possiably have a list of addresses for scrap yards selling Xantia parts please?

Our biggest yards are steadily dissapearing in Northants to make way for housing being built I often have to trek around a hundred miles to find a yard with the right parts, many of the citroen specialists are also dissapearing.

it would be handy if ppl could add their local scrappie/citroen specialist scrappie to this thread so that we could all have a place to source parts from. phone numbers would be very helpful please. esspecially if they strip the parts for you ready for collection.

thank you in advance Nigel.

Hi Nigel,

There is still a good one in Northampton, down the end of Ransome Road in Far Cotton. M and C Metals or somethmg like that.

He's mainly in it for the scrap metal and still allows you to forage. Costs are reasonable too.

I picked up a diesel Injection Pump there for £25 last year..

There is also A5 Salvage near Leighton Buzzard but he is a French car specialist breaker and charges accordingly.

Do a forum search - "scarp yards" or similar frazes.
I remember a thread a couple of years back exactly with lots of members listing yards they knew off.

You will certainly find one on eBay pretty damn quick - mine cost £15!
