Berlingo fuel pumps and burnning SVO.

I have noticed that there are a few unmarked diesel fuel pumps being fitted to Berlingo's does any body know if these are Lucas or Bosch please?

I believe they may well be Delphi (aka Lucas) pumps Nigel. Most DW8s appear to be so equipped. If it's an HDi then Veg. is right out whatever pump is fitted.

DON'T run any Lucas or Delphi pump on veg. Nigel, they object very, very strongly.

Pop up a picture of any pump you want identified..

Thanks Jim,

I have been following www.vegatableoildiesel.co.uk

fuel database where it often warns of lucas pumps failing.

I just wondered which pumps thay have been fitting to older berlingos with a common rail engine as they are not marked like the Bosch pumps.

2.0 HDis are usually either Bosch or Siemens pumps. However, veg oil is not recommended in any common rail diesel, regardless of the make of pump.
