Hi all, for a while now when i slow down and change gear, (usually from 3rd/4th into 2nd or 1st ,) my car feels like its stalled and the lights come on on the dash, for a split second and then it feels fine again. Its almost as if its cutting out but then carrying striaght on. Ive noticed it more when its wet
As ive said in my other post, im getting a new car any week now, so just need this to last another few weeks.
Any ideas?

Reading between this post and you'r 70 mph one I'd say your engine is suffering from the cambelt being incorrectly fitted (or slipped a tooth somehow) or a diesel leak.
If it's a diesel leak the car is going to be quite hard to drive, wanting to stall, until the thermostat opens (temp at 80 deg)
Look for a puddle and get back to us.
Other thing that crosses my mind is a faulty diesel pump or someone playing with its settings.
Final thought is that the water drainage pipe on the fuel filter is not closed tightly enough.
