Cheek!

Post by Sl4yer »

Just saw this on my favourite team's site:

http://www.oldhamathletic.premiumtv.co. ... 23,00.html

I've seen it on the car park a few times. I think it's a Furio (1.8i) and therefore reasonably rare. Why do people always assume that a brand new car is the answer to their motoring problems? If that's the worst car in Oldham, I'm a Yorkshireman! :?

It's called spin James, of the very worst kind :(

Heck, they ought to be doing all they can to encourage the use of older cars, far so-called greener than a new one. It makes me furious.

They're doing a good brainwashing job on our kids. It took a lot of work to convince my kids that running a middle-aged diesel Xantia is far greener, when taken overall, than any new car. They now understand after a discussion of whole-life economics and diesel economy :D

Still, if it is any consolation, the ZX is a king against a 207.

I've driven a 207 once. A truely horrible piece of tat totally undeserving of the good name Peugeot  She'll rue the day she gets rid of the ZX I tell you...
