Hello all, need some info
HOW MUCH FLUID DOES IT TAKE TO FILL THE RESERVOIR TO THE REQUIRED LEVEL ON A XANTIA.
HOW IS THE LEVEL CHECKED, IT SAYS THAT THE LEVEL IS CORRECT WHEN THE FLOAT IS BETWEEN THE RED LINES WHEN THE SUSPENSION IS IN THE MIN POSITION.

mine takes 5.4Ltrs, xantia, 1.6L, '93.
park on a flat surface, then you should move the height level to the max, then check the lhm level.
the red/orange disc should be between the two rings when car has settled to the max height.

My float doesn't seem to move, wherever the suspension is set , is this a problem?

I've always used a very scientific method of checking LHM level;
when the fingernail of your forefinger is in the fluid at normal driving position height, then it's about spot on.
I'm serious, I've used that method for years and it hasn't let me down yet.

A little more about science: in my BX, LHM level is about 9.5 cm below the filler neck, in normal driving position.

Surely this only works on the Activa? As far as I knew the others don't have digital control?
